Y'all, I love this Houston band, Branded Duo. I have just posted their song, "Heroes", about our young soldiers and the huge sacrifices they have made for our nation, without much recognition for their efforts. Hope you like the song;  they... more

ThumbnailThis little guy has definite herding instincts. He might be a Kelpie, an Australian shepherd type dog, but because he came to us a stray, we'll never know for sure. What we do know is that he loves to go with us anywhere we go. He loves the car, the... more

Trust me I want to get back in the saddle ASAP. The Dr told me at the first of the month after my back surgery that he did not think I would be able to ride again. I told him that I WAS gonna ride and that all I needed was an estimated time and he told me October. So maybe then I can get this gelding trained and get after it. LOL

Hey Girl! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I saw where you are out of school now, we will have to do some riding during the week!

I hope "tilly" does well too. Ron is very patient. Hope had a little head start on things as I had already put the saddle on her some and handled her a lot, but i sure didnt have the nerve to get on her! LOL! I leave that to the experts! With my pasture being next to the road and a rice farmer being across the street, my horses do get exposed to a lot of big equipment and stuff going down the road, but they will still boogie woogie sometimes from those five fanged horse eaters. I am bad about blowing things off too...and her not being yours, yes, you have to be careful. Mine still freak at 4 wheelers though. I need to hire some kid to bring theirs over for a lesson.
